The Boys at Work

NORCAL Golden Retriever Specialty, July 2003
Team Montair & Our Boys did very well...
Left to right:
Elizabeth Jordan and Bentley, Best of Breed Winner (10 yrs old) from the
Veteran's Class
Karli Knight and Derby, Judge Award of Merit
Laurie Jordan-Fenner and Oscar, Winners Dog from Open Class & 4 point Major
AM CAN MEX &
INT Champion Casadeloro's Classic Bentley BIS,
BISS, CD, OS, SDHF
"Bentley"
Bentley is the pride of Montair Golden Retrievers. He was sired by
one of the most famous Goldens in recent times "Kirby".
Bentley earned Championship
status in the USA, Canada and Mexico plus two titles at International shows. He was inducted
into the Golden Retriever Show Dog Hall of Fame (SDHF) by the time he was two years
old. He earned his Obedience Title (CD) in three
consecutive shows.
Numerous Best in Show and Best in Specialty Show wins, including Best of
Breed at Westminster and Winner of the Eukanuba Cup.
He
has sired numerous litters, many of which are now being shown or have gone on to
agility, obedience and field
work. He was recognized as an Outstanding Sire (OS)
in 2006.
CH. Montair's Black Tie Affair
"Oscar"
- Oscar earned 3 points before reaching the age of 10 months. Five in total
by 18 months and a total of nine points plus a "major" before he was two years
old. January 2005 he got his second major at the prestigious Golden
Gate Kennel Club Dog Show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. This is
the largest "Benched" show in the Western U.S. He returned to
to the Cow Palace in 2007 winning Best of Breed.

-
CH. Montair's Triple
Crown O'Gold
"Derby"
-
- Derby, sired by
Bentley is another of our American Champions. He's
the largest of our males and has the sweetest personality of any of our dogs.
The classic Golden Retriever disposition. His favorite
things are water and soft stuffed toys! He always greets you at the door
with at least three soft plushy toys stuffed in his mouth at the same time.
He's big on swimming and loves everything and everybody, other dogs, kids,
cats, our 15 chickens - all of it! We nicknamed him "Doof".
-
Montair's Chateau La Paws
"Cooper"
- Cooper and Sydney (below) are litter
mates. Cooper has everything going for him. Great conformation and
a dark red, dense coat. He has a very loving personality (typical Golden) and born
to please. He enjoys everything he does, in and out of the ring.
When he isn't being shown, his favorite thing is chasing his sister while
barking at her.
And our Girls:
-
- AM & CAN Champion Tuxedo's
Sweet Move
"Candy"
Candy became an American Champion winning at the Golden Retriever Specialty
in Carmel CA. She already had her Canadian Championship which she earned
in just three weeks.
-
-
Citrine's Money
Talks
"Madison"
-
- Madison was sired by Bentley. Trained for field work as
well as conformation.
-
-
Rush Hill's Derby
Darlin
"Morgan"
-
- Morgan is a Kirby Granddaughter. She is pointed and
one of our favorites. Her talents are best suited to Obedience. This girl has lots of bone,
good conformation and a determined (OK, stubborn) attitude.
-
-
Rush Hill's Nunna Yer Beeswax
"Mackenzie"
- Mackenzie is our wild child. Very
athletic. One of her favorite things is running into the pond for a cool
dunk and chasing away the ducks.
-
Montair's
Lollapawlooza
"Sydney"
- She is the "Pistol". Her big thing
is chasing Cooper and wrestling with any dog, man, woman or child. She
loves tennis balls and chasing varmints. She is extremely fast and more
than capable of catching the rabbits, squirrels and wild turkeys that roam our
property.

Montair's
I'm Too Sexy for My Fur
"Hannah"
- Hanna is from a recent breeding of Oscar
& Sydney. She reminds us a lot of her Dad, with his good looks and
muscular build. She acts like Dad in many ways too when it comes to
being high-energy and physical. She also gets high-energy and
temperament from Mom so she is a very fast runner, fears
nothing, high energy very athletic and built solid as a rock - right to the
breed standard. We think this is going to prove to be a winning
combination.
-
Montair's
No Fleas In My Fur
"Sophie"
- Sophie is Hannah's sister.
She looks very much like Hannah (just because they are litter mates does
not mean they all look alike) but a bit more feminine. She is extremely curious and
has a more wandering nature.
Loves to hunt and grub for weird things all over the property and bring it
back to the house. Enjoys running - usually in a straight line to the
chicken coop to look for a bird to chase or under the apple tree for a quick
snack...

- We produce a
limited number of litters per year; However, Oscar
goes out for Stud regularly. We can also refer you
to those breeders which are expecting puppies sired by our stud dogs or add
you to out "Puppy List" for our future litters. When we have
puppies or know of other quality breeders with pups available from our stud
dogs you will see a banner on our home page.
